The logistics giant DHL is announcing the launch of a blockchain based supply chain prototype. Looks like in future, the technology is going to be introduced to global pharmaceutical supply.
DHL in collaboration with Accenture developed a blockchain based technology, a prototype with nodes, to track pharmaceutical preparations that are moving within the supply chain.
The ledger for tracking them can be shared with the chain participants, such as stakeholders, manufacturers, pharmacies, warehouses, hospitals, and so on – all interested parties.
The blockchain is the technology that can handle thousands of unique numbers and more than 1,500 transactions during one second – this is amazing and this feature is perfect for pharmaceuticals tracking.
