Savedroid is a German startup that looks like a new ICO scam. The main evidence is the disappearance of the startup founder after raising about 50 mln USD on ICO sale. Yassin Hankir, a CEO and founder of Savedroid raised the funds in ICO sale and privately, and after that, he vanished. He made his intentions more than clear with his recent Twitter post – “Thank you, guys, Over and out…”. For now, Saveroid is showing just a screen with South Park theme writing: Ammmmm… It`s gone!”
Though, not everybody believes Savedroid is a scam. BitCoin ONE has just announced, that they would donate 100,000 BTC to the Savedroid victims if it turns out to be a scam.
FinanceMagnates announced, that Savedroid allowed investors participate in ICO sale with more than 56 cryptocurrencies, while usually, startups do it just with Bitcoin and Ether. That could have been a good warning to the potential investors, but who knew…
Savedroid promised to make cryptocurrency investments as simple as using a usual bank account. Social accounts of the startup are abandoned or used by other scammers. So, looks like a scam case is more than evident.
