Kazakhstan is making effort to embrace new technologies, including cryptocurrencies. Right now, the country considers the acceptance and legalization of blockchain technology and creation of a cryptocurrency lobby group in order to perform promotion and facilitation of introduction of cryptocurrency.
As reports Astana Times, blockchain has already applied for its legalization and recognition in government, as well as for the right to begin acting on the territory of the country officially.
Moreover, Kazakhstan has gone further in its cryptocurrency support. The country is going to introduce the own cryptocurrency, the CryptoTenghe. This would be a digital coin that would function similarly to the Russian CryptoRuble.
Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general are moving forward, that is clear. Meanwhile, CIS countries are struggling with their acceptance and regulation.
