Gazprombank, the major Russian bank is going to conduct pilot cryptocurrency transactions through Switzerland. The Deputy Chairman of the bank, Aleksander Sobol, has selected this country mostly because or loyal legislation. Some kind of pilots will of course take place, the chairman explained, but the transactions aren’t going to be big. There will be only transactions that are needed for the bank and for some of its major clients.
Sberbank, another Russian bank, has already declared as well, that they are selecting Switzerland for opening their own crypto-exchange, because according to the Russian legislation, doing it in Russia is forbidden.
