Ripple could launch a commercial version of its payment platform xRapid within the next month. Ripple has making efforts now toward the launch of the platform, as it is reported by the head of regulatory relations for Asia-Pacific and the Middle East at Ripple Sagar Sarbhai.
The xRapid is a real time payments settlement platform that is going to speed up international payments. It was built for commercial use and supports XRP tokens. The main target of the platform is to minimize the liquidity costs and make cross-border transactions faster and less painful for both a sender and a recipient.
In August this year has partnered with three cryptocurrency exchanges – USA based Bittrex, Mexican Bitso, Philippine Coins Ph, and this is a part of the Ripple intention to build up a healthy ecosystem for digital assets.
Now, the new partnership, will allow Ripple to be exchanged to Mexican pesos, the USA dollar and the Philippine pesos.
